Learning for Improvement (Cohort 3)

 

WHO IS IT FOR? 

This session is suitable for all staff and volunteers across the North East and North Cumbria health and care system. If you have any queries about your eligibility to attend, please get in touch.

 

ABOUT THE SESSION 

This workshop supports our ambition to be the best at getting better in the North East and North Cumbria by emphasising the importance of a shared learning culture and approach to continuous improvement.  Learning is the engine for our approach to improvement as an integrated care system, and we all have a role in modelling this approach.  The workshop will build on our core improvement methodology by introducing a human systems perspective and emphasising the importance of making time for continuous learning.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Key principles of a learning organisation
  • Leadership behaviours for continuous learning
  • How to embed a continuous learning and improvement approach into our organisational systems and ways of working
  • A theory of change aligned to the NENC strategy and goals – better health and wellbeing for all
  • An introduction to human learning systems mindset
  • Core tools for improvement

The session will take place via Microsoft Teams, and a link will be emailed to registered delegates a few days in advance.
