ABOUT THE SESSION

Boost, in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, are planning a series of Lunch and Learns. These are 30 minute, virtual, informal sessions that take place at lunchtime - while you take a break and eat, you can listen to our invited speaker give a short talk sharing their experience of improvement work. The session is then open to anyone who has questions or reflections to offer.

Join us for this Lunch and Learn to hear from Hamid Motraghi (Deputy Director of People & Culture, North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board) on 'Developing the right approach to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion'.

This session will raise awareness around equity, diversity, and inclusion, outlining the legal duties of public sector organisations.

We will hear about the compelling evidence base for change, and explore how we can work to build more equal, diverse and inclusive environments for the benefit of North East and North Cumbria health and care staff, as well as our patients and service users.
