Professional Identity Training - For all staff: Supporting a positive professional identity in a multi-professional world (Cohort 2)

This training is suitable for all staff and volunteers across the North East and North Cumbria health and care system. If you have any queries about your eligibility to attend, please get in touch.

"Supporting a positive professional identity in a multi-professional world"

This session examines professional identity and its role in integrated working, enabling attendees to better understand how they can help themselves and others feel supported and flourish in the multi-professional teams.

It will explore identity theory, the latest research and real-life examples to explain some of the feelings, reactions and issues that people might be experiencing.

Attendees will be supported to explore practical solutions to create positive outcomes, helping them to feel secure in their roles and form a wider identity with their multi-professional colleagues. Attendees will be encouraged to reflect and share their experiences throughout the session to make this as meaningful and useful as possible.

"Thank you for your amazing advice on professional identity and how to work to build integrated system teams" Clinical Director

"I really enjoyed your presentation! I am a Physiotherapist working within our local training hub and really feel that your presentation rang so true within my own working environment, but also the clinicians I support working in primary care" Physiotherapy Ambassador

"[this presentation] was hugely impactful for me- especially in light of all of the industrial action and the potential for divisiveness between professions…please know that your research was incredibly powerful for me and hopefully nursing as a whole." Head of Nursing
