Self-Coaching (Cohort 7)

This course is suitable for all staff and volunteers across the North East and North Cumbria health and care system. If you have any queries about your eligibility to attend, please get in touch.

In this session, we will look at how you can coach yourself to help you reach your goals or make sense of something that is bothering you. We will also discover how you can become more self-aware as a coach or leader.

By the end of the course, it is hoped that you will:

  • Understand what self-coaching is and the benefits it brings
  • Know what skills are required to be able to self-coach including how to raise self-awareness
  • Understand the steps to self-coach and have some models to help guide you
  • Have experienced and practiced having a coaching conversation

You will also have an opportunity to practice coaching as part of the session. Please come prepared with a workplace situation or challenge that you feel would be beneficial to talk through. This could be something that you are stuck with or not sure how to move forward with.

The session will take place via Microsoft Teams, and a link will be emailed to registered delegates a few days in advance.

If you have any queries about this event or any special requirements, please get in touch.
